“Peace is the European Union. The Republic of Moldova is closer to becoming a member of these important Unions.” The Head of the EU Delegation in Moldova, Janis Mazeiks, said it on Europe Day.
The diplomat spoke about how our country is coping with the regional situation, Russian energy blackmail, and the prospects for our country’s accession to the community.
“This year has a special significance for Moldova as you can express your opinion in the referendum on the country’s accession to the European Union. We encourage you to participate and make your voices heard, as together, we are building the path to a brighter and more European future for Moldova. Europe Day is about and for the people,” Mazeiks said.
