Candidates for public positions will be able to participate in job competitions remotely. Starting January 1, 2025, written procedures will be conducted abroad through Moldova’s diplomatic missions.
The new provision will apply only to candidates seeking vacant public positions in ministries, the State Chancellery, the Presidential Administration, and the Parliament Secretariat. Authorities believe this measure will help in “developing an attractive public service with professional staff focused on meeting citizens’ needs.”

“At the same time, we will simplify the procedure for evaluating the performance of new public officials and create more employment opportunities for young specialists in positions that do not require professional experience,” notes the Government’s press service.
We will also implement new rules for the use of electronic signatures by public officials. Additionally, we will clarify aspects related to working multiple jobs and conducting internal promotions for employees.
