Justice Minister Vladislav Cojuhari stated that politics does not interfere in the Republic of Moldova’s justice system. Speaking to the press, Cojuhari emphasized that the government team led by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu operates with transparency and sincerity.
“The Munteanu government is a team of very transparent and sincere individuals. This is our first government meeting, and I am just getting to the point. Of course, I believe there is no interference. But let’s discuss these matters as we move forward. I will never avoid uncomfortable questions,” Cojuhari said when asked whether politics influences the justice sector.
The minister promised to respond openly to journalists’ questions, regardless of their sensitivity, and reiterated his commitment to transparency within the ministry.
Vladislav Cojuhari has served for many years in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, holding the position of Secretary General in 2024. In the new cabinet formed by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, he now holds the Justice portfolio.
