Economic agents from the Transnistrian region transferred 166.386 million lei in customs duties to the state budget last year, according to data provided to IPN by the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova. The amount is 29.259 million lei, or nearly 15 percent, lower than in the previous year.
According to the institution information system, economic agents from the region paid 195.645 million lei in customs duties between January 1 and December 31, 2024. During the same period last year, they transferred 166.386 million lei.
The Customs Service reported that the largest contributors from the Transnistrian region in terms of customs duties last year were Sheriff LLC, Hi-Tech LLC, Iar-Ken LLC, Comgruz LLC, and Tiraet JSC.
