On August 14, Orheiul Vechi will host the live music festival “Miorița Verde Fest”, an important event for those who love live acoustic music, nature, communication, folklore, popular traditions and for whom the fate of the pearl of Moldova – the reservation natural and cultural “Old Orhei”. On this day, a beautiful green meadow, on the banks of the Răut River, will turn into a real Mecca of acoustic music, from ethno and jazz to meditative “world music”, author’s songs or pop music.
The Festival’s guest of honor is Enver Izmailov, a true legend of guitar music, the inventor and popularizer of “tapping”, a unique way of playing the guitar. Each of his shows, in any country in the world, is a real magic that leaves no one indifferent! He sang with outstanding musicians such as Bobby McFerrin, Richard Bona, Tommy Emmanuel, and at the Festival he will be joined by the leader of «Trigon», Anatol Stefăneț.

Rock music is represented by the legendary band “Cuibul”. Igor Dînga and his friends will come with an acoustic program consisting of the group’s known hits and the band’s new songs.
Alex Jaxx Quartet, one of the best saxophonists in Romania, Alex Huțanu, will present a program in “smooth jazz” style.
Victor Dănuță, a young but already well-known performer, is in charge of folklore.
The performer Cătălina Cara recently returned to Moldova after living and studying in Great Britain. Her songs are already broadcast on Chicago radio stations, and she recently performed at the famous “Electric Castle” festival in Cluj.
Prima Dragoste is a project of the singer Alexandra Cebotar, who has already conquered the hearts of thousands of fans from Moldova and Romania.
During the festival, in addition to live communication with the musicians, it will be possible to taste and buy NOVAK WINERY wines.
The organizers of the Festival are Roman Iagupov, frontman of the band “Zdob si Zdub” and Serghei Orlov, music producer.

The partner of the festival is the “Vila Etnica” tourist complex, on the territory of which the Festival will take place.
The organizers want to draw attention to the environmental problems of this wonderful place, the need to protect the river, the air, the land of the most famous nature reserve in Moldova.
The number of guests is limited, no more than 250 people.
