President Maia Sandu met with ambassadors of European Union member states accredited to our country and heads of diplomatic missions of Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Great Britain, Norway, the United States, and Ukraine, according to the press service of the presidential institution.
The President discussed with diplomats the situation in the country, the fulfillment of commitments in the context of the European integration process, and the initiative to hold a referendum on our country’s accession to the EU.
Maia Sandu reaffirmed the commitment of the governing team to continue the reforms initiated to increase the welfare of citizens and ensure the rule of law.
