The Russian invasion of Ukraine has had severe repercussions on the global stage, with a simultaneous surge in Russian propaganda in the Republic of Moldova, according to Marcela Adam, a member of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS). She made this statement at the Regional Presidents Conference of the Europe Region within the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF), held in Paris from 1st to 2nd June.
During the conference, Marcela Adam delivered a speech on the consequences of the war in Ukraine for neighboring countries, using the Republic of Moldova as an example.
“The tragedy unfolding in Ukraine has disrupted the entire international order. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has serious repercussions worldwide. At the same time, the level of Russian propaganda has reached its peak in the Republic of Moldova. We are facing direct and hybrid attempts to destabilize the reform process and undermine democracy,” emphasized the deputy.
