On November 11, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and members of the European Integration Committee held separate meetings with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, who was on a working visit to Chisinau from November 10–11.
The discussions brought together representatives from both the parliamentary majority and the opposition, focusing primarily on Moldova’s EU accession process.
“Moldova is special! This is thanks to the people who believe in it, who believe in our European future. But also thanks to our friends — those who love Moldova — and Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, is one of them. Thank you, Marta Kos!” said Igor Grosu, President of the Parliament.
Marcel Spatari, President of the European Integration Committee, highlighted that the Committee aims to act as a catalyst for the accession process, both within Parliament and the Government. He also thanked Commissioner Kos for the support provided to Moldova on its path toward EU membership.
