Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi is going on a working visit to the United States of America on July 9-11. The official will participate in a series of activities within the framework of the NATO Summit in Washington.
“At the invitation of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, I will participate in the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the creation of the North Atlantic Alliance and will deliver a speech at the NATO Partnerships Forum. I will also meet with counterparts and officials from NATO member and partner countries.
During the discussions, I will reiterate the national interest of the Republic of Moldova in strengthening the traditional and credible partnership with the North Atlantic Alliance. At the same time, I will emphasize the importance of promoting democratic reforms in the national resilience in the context of a changing international security environment, particularly affected by geopolitical crises in the region and the world”, Mihai Popsoi said.

Recall that in 2024, the Republic of Moldova marks 30 years since the establishment of the partnership with the North Atlantic Alliance and 10 years since the launch of our country’s participation in the KFOR peacekeeping operation in Kosovo.
