Mihai Popsoi to Visit Bulgaria for Talks on Bilateral Relations and Moldova’s EU Path

Moldova’s Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi will pay an official visit to Bulgaria on September 9 at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart, Velislava Petrova.

During his visit to Sofia, Popsoi will meet with Petrova, followed by a joint press conference scheduled for 11:30 a.m.

The Moldovan foreign minister is also expected to meet with Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova, National Assembly President Mihaela Dotsova, Deputy Prime Minister Ivo Hristov, Foreign Policy Committee Chair Petar Vitanov, and Galin Durev, head of the Bulgaria-Moldova Parliamentary Friendship Group.

“With Bulgarian officials, I will discuss relations between our countries, strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, and Bulgaria’s support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova,” Popsoi said.
