Moldavian becomes the European vice-champion in boxing

Alexandru Paraskiv became the vice-champion of Europe in boxing in the 63,5 kg weight category. 

The athlete did not participate in the tournament’s finals due to an injury sustained during the semifinal round. The next and the last pre-Olympic tournament will be held from May 23 to June in Thailand.

Earlier, two more Moldovan boxers reached the podium at the European Championships in Belgrade. Daria Kosorez became the European champion in the 81 kg weight category, and Vasiliy Cebotari became the bronze medalist in the 71 kg category.
