Moldova and Georgia will strengthen the exchange of information to combat crimes

The Republic of Moldova and Georgia will strengthen collaboration and information exchange to combat and counteract crimes. Minister of the Interior Adrian Efros and Ambassador H.E. Levan Diasamidze met in Chișinău to discuss bilateral cooperation.

The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a meeting with the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Levan Diasamidze.

The discussions focused on bilateral cooperation, Moldovan-Georgian relations, socio-economic transformation, steps taken to promote order, regional security, and democracy, as well as the process of joining the European Union for both states.

Additionally, the possibility of jointly organizing training sessions, seminars, conferences, and other scientific events of mutual interest with counterparts from Georgia was discussed. This aims to advance the development of mutually beneficial projects, contributing to enhancing the response capabilities of Ministry of Interior personnel for ensuring, maintaining, and restoring order and public security.
