Moldova Evacuates More Citizens from Israel Amid Escalating Conflict

Nineteen more Moldovan citizens have returned home from Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, according to IPN.

The MFA explained that bringing our compatriots back to the country was the result of joint efforts between the ministry’s Crisis Cell, the Moldovan Embassy in Israel, and the support of the Ukrainian Embassy in Tel Aviv. In a Facebook post, the MFA added, “Thanks to the efforts of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv, the team completed the evacuation mission.”

The ministry reported that the group safely evacuated from Israel to Egypt and boarded a flight arranged by the Ukrainian side.
