Brasov’s “Piata Sfatului” is hosting the fifth edition of the “Republica Moldova Prezinta” exhibition from June 27 to 29, a flagship event that promotes Moldovan-made products on Romanian and European markets.
This year’s jubilee edition proudly continues the tradition launched in 2016 in Iasi and Ploiesti and contributes to the broader effort to internationalize the “Made in Moldova” brand. Over 50 Moldovan companies are showcasing a diverse array of products—ranging from food and agro-industrial goods to wines, spirits, honey, textiles, jewelry, furniture, building materials, cosmetics, and handicrafts.
According to a statement from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition officially opened on the morning of June 27 with a tour of the stands attended by local officials from Brasov, Moldovan representatives, ambassadors, partners, and numerous visitors.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, the main organizer of the event, emphasized the exhibition’s strategic goal:
“By organizing this event, we aim to strengthen the economic and commercial bridges between the Republic of Moldova and Romania, to boost the competitiveness of the business environment, and to provide a dynamic platform for promotion, interaction, and bilateral cooperation.”
The organizers partnered with Brasov City Hall, Brasov County Council, the Brasov Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Romania, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (OED), the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, and local cultural institutions to host the event.
In addition to its economic focus, the exhibition also includes a strong cultural dimension. On Saturday, June 28, starting at 5:00 p.m., audiences are invited to a folk music performance featuring artistic ensembles and soloists from the Republic of Moldova—a celebration of shared cultural heritage and the deep-rooted bonds between both sides of the Prut River.
