Fresh poultry meat from Moldova will reach the markets of the European Union. The National Agency for Food Security (NAFS) announced it.
On June 7, the authorities approved the opening of the first plant in Moldova with the right to export fresh, chilled, and frozen poultry meat to the European Union market.
“Thanks to the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Moldova in recent years and as a result of the amazing and efficient cooperation of the National Agency for Food Security with the Directorate General for Animal Health and Safety of the European Commission (DG SANTE), poultry meat producers from 30.04.24 can export the product to the largest market in the world, provided that it complies with the sanitary-veterinary and food safety requirements according to the legislation of the European Union,” NAFS reported.
