The Republic of Moldova will host the Cadet World Judo Championships for the first time in 2027, bringing together young judokas from around the world, the Ministry of Education and Research of Moldova announced.
Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation, and Andrei Golban, President of the Judo Federation of the Republic of Moldova, signed the agreement to organize the competition in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Authorities also recalled that last year the Republic of Moldova hosted the European U-23 Judo Championships for the first time.
