Moldova will host the European Beach Rugby Championships

Moldova will host the European Beach Rugby Championships in Chisinau’s La Izvor Park from August 31 – September 1.

Fourteen elite teams from seven countries have confirmed their participation, ready to showcase their skills and compete for supremacy on the sand.

At a news conference today, Sergiu Gurin, the Ministry of Education and Research Secretary General, announced that the event will feature the most talented teams across Europe.

Philippe Tuccelli, the Director of Competitions for the European Rugby Federation, praised Moldova for organizing the championships, stating that Chisinau will be the center of European rugby this weekend.

La Izvor Park Arena will host all matches. Spectators can enter for free.

The championship will open on August 31, and the closing ceremony will take place on the evening of September 1.
