A Moldovan team won bronze at a canine kennel competition held in Latvia, the Border Police said. Twenty teams from three countries, Latvia, Lithuania, and Moldova, took part in the event.
The competition included three tests that aimed to test the skills and training of canine teams in detecting explosives and drugs and searching for traces.
“The Border Police team demonstrated professionalism and efficiency. The competition demonstrated cooperation between specialized structures and the exchange of best practices between expert canines. Congratulations to all participants. The results reflect the dedication and efforts made by the teams to ensure a high level of security and professionalism,” the Police said in a statement.
