Moldovan Foreign Minister after visiting destroyed Ukrainian school: “Russia must pay for all the damage caused”

The head of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry, Mihai Popsoi, on March 14, visited a destroyed school in the village of Gostomel, Kyiv Region, while on a working visit to Ukraine.

“Today we visited the secondary school № 2 in the village of Gostomel, which was destroyed as a result of savage attacks by the Russian Federation. Classrooms, in which students were engaged, were destroyed, and only holes from ammunition remained on the walls.

The village of Gostomel was attacked during the first days of the war, but the Ukrainian authorities soon managed to liberate it. The Russian Federation should withdraw its troops and weapons from Ukraine and then pay for all the damage caused.

Moldova will continue to support Ukraine, which is courageously fighting for its and our freedom, as well as the freedom of the whole of Europe,” Popsoi wrote on his page on Facebook.

On March 13, Mihai Popsoi went to Kyiv on a working visit at the invitation of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister. The politician announced this on his Facebook page. Yesterday, together with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitri Kuleba, the Moldovan foreign minister laid flowers at the memorial wall in honor of the heroes who fell for the freedom of Ukraine.
