Moldovan Foreign Ministry urged citizens to refrain from traveling to Israel

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) warned against traveling to Israel today.

“Due to the worsening security situation in the Middle East, the Foreign Ministry issues a travel warning in connection with the unstable security situation in Israel. Thus, the authorities recommend that Moldovan citizens avoid non-essential travel to this country. Security and stability in the area may be disrupted indefinitely,” the ministry said.

In this regard, the authorities advise to closely follow news and information provided by the authorities, including the Foreign Ministry and the diplomatic mission in Tel Aviv. These sources can provide updates on the situation in the area and possible additional security measures.

“The Ministry urges citizens to be responsible, cautious, to put personal safety first, to follow instructions, and rules set by the authorities, and to avoid unnecessary risks. At the same time, citizens are advised to maintain contact with the Israeli Embassy,” the Foreign Ministry said in an official statement.
