Moldovan National KickBoxing Team Secures Two Medals at WAKO World Championship in Portugal


The national kickboxing team has won two bronze medals at the WAKO World Championship held in Portugal, announced by the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.

“Thus, athletes Pavel Voronin (91kg) and Alexandru Cazacinschii (57kg) stepped onto the third tier of the awards podium.

Another representative of our country, Vasile Panainte, secured the 5th position, while Vitalie Panainte and Stanislav Reniță occupied the 9th place.

Over 1432 athletes from 77 countries participated in the WAKO World Kickboxing Championship.

For the results achieved at the World Championship, both the athletes and their coaches will be rewarded at the end of this year,” stated the officials from the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.
