Moldovan President Maia Sandu, who attended the coronation of Charles III in London on Saturday, met with Moldovans living in the UK after the event.
“I was impressed, as every time I meet with our people living outside the country, their interest in the realities of our country and the emotions with which they talk about Moldova”, the head of state said.
At the meeting, Sandu answered questions regarding investment opportunities and programs for small and medium-sized businesses, about judicial reform and efforts to fight corruption, and, above all, the European future of our country. The President also called on all those present to invite relatives, who are in the Republic of Moldova, to take part in the National Assembly “European Moldova”.
“This is the day when we will all together announce our choice: we are a developed, free and European country, hospitable and excellent for all its inhabitants”, the head of state summed up.
