Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan held a phone conversation with his Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev on Moldova’s European integration, joint projects, and the development of bilateral relations.
Tofan thanked Bulgaria for its support to Moldova’s European Union accession process and for sharing its experience throughout the country’s integration journey.
The two officials also discussed economic and energy cooperation. The prime ministers addressed ways to increase trade, attract investments, and develop projects through the Vertical Gas Corridor — an infrastructure network connecting Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine.
They also highlighted the role of Moldova’s Bulgarian community in strengthening ties between the two countries and discussed the reform of local public administration.
