Wines from the Republic of Moldova are strengthening their presence on the international stage, as native grape varieties Feteasca Alba and Feteasca Neagra have been included in the permanent exhibition of Cite du Vin in Bordeaux.

Visitors can now discover these varieties alongside some of the most representative grape types from around the world, highlighting the growing international recognition of Moldovan wines.

According to the Wine of Moldova platform, the inclusion places Feteasca Alba and Feteasca Neagra at the heart of the exhibition, offering global audiences the opportunity to explore the country’s winemaking heritage.

The presence of Moldovan wines is further enhanced by workshops and panoramic tastings organized at the Belvedere within the museum.

These experiences are supported by leading wineries, including Radacini Wines, Chateau Vartely Winery, Vinum.md, Apriori Wine, Castel Mimi, Vinaria din Vale, Salcuta Winery, and Fautor Winery, which provided selected wines for the 2026 program.

The initiative showcases Moldova’s wine sector on one of the world’s most prominent cultural platforms dedicated to wine.
