By April 30, citizens can direct 2% of their income tax to non-governmental organizations supporting causes they believe in.
“Every taxpayer in the Republic of Moldova can decide where part of their tax goes. This process involves no additional cost—it’s money the state has already collected, and you can choose its destination,” said government spokesperson Daniel Voda.
This option is available to all income taxpayers with no outstanding debts to the state.
People can allocate funds only to officially registered non-governmental organizations that do not engage in political activities.
