Moldovans flocked to buy government bonds! Online sales exceeded the initial offer

Moldovans made 815 transactions to buy government bonds online. The total value of purchases amounted to 78,712,900 lei for ten days.

People who invest in two-year government bonds benefit from a 6% interest rate and are exempt from tax on the amount they get. Government securities will be settled to each investor in his portfolio on the EVMs.md platform.

Every six months, the system will transfer interest directly to the payment accounts of bond purchasers registered on the EVMs.md platform. After two years, the system will return the invested amount to those who bought government securities.

The issuance of government securities to individuals was the first for the Republic of Moldova. Citizens could buy bonds directly, without intermediaries, through a specialized platform.
