Moldova’s National Army is conducting a training exercise for Armed Forces reservists at a military training ground from October 19 to 23. According to the Ministry of Defence, the activity aims to assess and strengthen reservists’ military skills and maintain the level of readiness required to carry out specific missions.

Over five days, the reservists will take part in theoretical and practical training sessions, including tactical training, infantry weapons firing exercises, first aid, and other specialised activities.

“Training exercises for reservists are planned activities held periodically to maintain the readiness of the Armed Forces reserve.

They are conducted in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 1244/2002 on the Armed Forces Reserve and the National Army’s Training Plan for 2026,” the ministry said in a statement.

Similar training exercises were held in July and September 2026 at various National Army training centres.
