The government approved new conditions for the transport of goods and persons between Moldova and Turkmenistan. Thus, the services as well as the transit of one state by providers from another will be carried out based on authorizations.
The Government approved, at the proposal of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Turkmenistan. The document was signed in Chisinau and Turkmenbashi on August 16, 2022.

“The implementation of the Agreement will stimulate the development of commercial and economic relations between the Republic of Moldova and Turkmenistan, as well as contribute to the strengthening of diplomatic relations between the parties”, claims the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Lilia Dabija.
The authorities believe that by approving the agreement mutually beneficial conditions are created for the carriers of the two states.
