Moldovan citizens wishing to vote abroad can preregister through the CEC’s online platform “Advance Registration” at https://inregistrare.cec.md. The process allows authorities to estimate the number of voters intending to cast their ballots outside the country. The pre-registration deadline is August 14.
Citizens who preregistered for previous elections and have not changed their location abroad do not need to register again. However, they may cancel their previous application and submit a new one if necessary.
Parliament approved the September 28 election date, and the decision appeared in the Official Gazette on April 18.
