New Electronics College in Chișinău: Austrian Government Invests in Moldova’s Educational Future

The Vienna government is set to construct an electronics college in Moldova, as announced today by the Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun.

“Austrian authorities will finance the construction of an electronics college in Chișinău. We discussed this matter in Vienna during a meeting with my Austrian counterpart, Martin Polaschek. The new institution is expected to start its activities on September 1, 2025,” stated Dan Perciun.

Additionally, the two ministers have signed a letter of intent to expand the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and the Federal Ministry of Education, Science, and Research of the Republic of Austria.

“This document foresees an expansion of collaboration in the field of education and vocational training through joint projects that will contribute to the economic growth of both states,” Perciun emphasized.
