Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy will adopt an internationally recognized anti-bribery system. The Ministry of Education and Research (MER) announced. The initiative aims to reduce corruption in the academic environment.
The university recently held a training course for vice-rectors and department heads to support the rollout. Participants learned how the anti-bribery system works, how to identify and prevent corruption, and what tools can improve control over internal financial and administrative processes.
The course also covered procedures for reporting and investigating suspected bribery cases.

Last year, several universities launched the “Zero Tolerance for Corruption” campaign, implementing concrete measures such as anti-corruption action plans, internal whistleblowing mechanisms, and independent oversight of exams.
