Nine companies represent the Republic of Moldova at Green Week in Berlin

The traditional international trade fair for food, agriculture, and horticulture – GrĂ¼ne Woche or Green Week – takes place in Berlin from 19-28 January. The event brings together agri-food entrepreneurs from all over the world in one place.

This year’s event hosts 1400 participants from 60 countries, including nine producers from the Republic of Moldova, who have traveled to Germany with their best wines, bakery products, and sweets. Among the representatives of our Moldova is Castel Mimi – a wine producer promoting wines from local varieties of grapes at the exhibition.

“Since Castel Mimi is the promoter of wines made from local varieties of grapes, we chose to go to Berlin with our wines made from local grapes. This gives the 300 thousand visitors attending the event the opportunity to get to know our country and the varieties we are proud of. We invite Moldovans from the diaspora from Berlin to visit our country’s stands, choose our Moldovan products, and promote our country brand,” reads a post published on the Mimi Castle page.

GrĂ¼ne Woche is in its 88th edition, and this year’s event is also attended by a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, headed by Minister Vladimir Bolea.
