One of the 15 most beautiful wineries in the world opens its doors wide for a unique event, guaranteeing you the best weekend getaway. On 24 February, Castel Mimi, the only castle in the Republic of Moldova, invites lovers of exclusive parties to a select dinner with premium wines.
Again this year, all guests attending the special event will participate in opening a Magnum Governor Feteasca Neagra, a bottle with double the volume of wine produced in limited quantities. Recently, this particular wine won the title of “best wine” in a local competition, in which participants tasted it without knowing the producer.
In addition, each dish will be served with elite wines from The Governor series, created in honor of Constantin Mimi, the last governor of Bessarabia, a renowned wine producer 130 years ago.

Governor Chardonnay/Riesling, The First Lady Rose, Governor Feteasca Neagră, and Governor Blend will be presented to the public and served with excellent dishes prepared by the chefs of the White Owl Restaurant. The organizers promise that the evening’s menu and exceptional premium wine pairings will surprise and delight even the most discerning gourmets and lovers of fine wines.
In addition to wine and culinary delights, the entire evening will be spiced up with live music by the Space Cable Band. The most famous local and international tunes will sound in a new reinterpretation for all participants attending Open That Bottle Night.
