After the “Democracy at Home” party, the “Our Party” also requested a one-week postponement of the parliamentary session where the government program proposed by Alexandru Munteanu is scheduled for debate.
According to Renato Usatii, his faction did not have sufficient time to analyze the document and identified several vulnerabilities.
Usatii specifically referred to the lack of details concerning the budget, the timeline for implementing the proposed measures, sources of funding, total costs, and anti-corruption mechanisms.
“There is nothing about external shocks — energy, national security, migration. I handed Mr. Munteanu a copy with these notes. If we want a functional government, a working group should be created from parliamentary factions and extra-parliamentary parties to develop a joint program for governing the country. During Thursday’s session, we will propose postponing the vote of confidence,” said Usatii.
The “Democracy at Home” faction also announced, following consultations with Alexandru Munteanu, that it supports postponing the session where the vote of confidence for the new cabinet will be requested and that it will not support the formation of the new government.
