More than 520 farmers from across Moldova participated in the first edition of AgroFin Moldova – the Financiers’ Fair for Agriculture and Rural Development, held in three key regions: Balti, Chisinau, and Cahul.
The final regional session concluded on June 6 in Cahul, where farmers from southern Moldova engaged in direct discussions with financial institutions, public authorities, and development partners. It marked the close of the inaugural AgroFin Moldova initiative.
“AgroFin Moldova 2025 brought together 525 agricultural producers during the three regional sessions,” the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAFI) stated. “The event created a platform for dialogue between farmers, financial institutions, government representatives, and development partners. Over 180 farmers from the southern region attended the Cahul session, where participants valued the opportunity to access information on financial products, guarantee mechanisms, insurance solutions, and investment support – all in one place.”
