Athletes Uliana-Dumitrita Josanu, Uliana Dobrinina, and Adeline Senic achieved remarkable results at the U20 Fencing World Cup, held from 28 to 30 November 2025 in Samorin, Slovakia.
All three won gold medals.
“In the final tournament, our athletes — Josanu Uliana-Dumitrita and Dobrinina Uliana, members of the national team — took first place out of 21 teams. Their impressive result confirms their professionalism, discipline, and high-level preparation! In Slovakia, four athletes and one coach from the Specialized Fencing Sports School of Chisinau municipality represented our team,” the Chisinau City Hall stated in a press release.
Adeline Senic secured first place in the overall ranking with 32 points. Athletes from Hungary and the United States followed her in the standings.
