President Maia Sandu met with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre. She expressed her gratitude for Norway’s solidarity over the past two years.
“In Oslo, I had a productive meeting with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre, to whom I expressed my gratitude for Norway’s solidarity over the past two years and the additional financial support of 30 million euros announced today. We want this grant to help strengthen energy security and improve the education sector. Moldova appreciates the generosity of the Norwegian people, who have supported us in crucial moments to overcome the many challenges we have faced and are helping us to strengthen our resilience,” the head of state wrote on her Facebook page.
