The Ambassador of the United States of America (USA) in Chisinau, Kent D. Logsdon, visited the Agricultural Technical College in the village Svetlii, ATU Gagauzia on Thursday, March 14.
The US government, through the non-governmental organization USAID, supports young people in learning to use online platforms for farm management.
The Ambassador also met with the administration of the State University of Comrat.

“At the Agricultural College in Svetlii, the U.S. Government through USAID is promoting the digital transformation of agriculture, and Ambassador Logsdon met students learning to use online platforms for farm management and to operate drones and other modern equipment. In Comrat, the Ambassador met with the State University’s leadership, and joined our Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Tigray Demurjian at an English conversation club to discuss the U.S. education system. It was great to be back in Gagauzia!” Kent D. Logsdon said.
