The Under 21 Women’s team won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Varazdin, Croatia. They are Nicoleta Clima, Kasandra Berzan, Streapunina Nikoli. Their success was announced on Friday evening, 23 February.

At the same competition, Dan Olaru, from another category, announced that he finished the winter season with 5th place in the team and 9th place at the European Championship. Junior Mihai Sadoveanu, for the first time, was a member of the senior team of the Republic of Moldova alongside Dan Olaru and Sergiu Sorici.
