“A new brutal Russian attack on Kyiv has killed civilians in their own homes. I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. The Republic of Moldova stands with Ukraine. Accountability for these crimes, increased pressure on Russia, and stronger support for Ukraine must be the international community’s response,” Maia Sandu wrote in a public message posted on Thursday, July 2, on the X platform.
