President Maia Sandu met with Benjamin Haddad, France’s Minister Delegate for European Affairs, during his official visit to Moldova. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries and reaffirming France’s continued support for Moldova’s European integration. The presidential press service reported it.

President Sandu thanked Minister Haddad for France’s contribution to supporting reforms, strengthening state institutions, and promoting democracy in Moldova. Regarding Moldova’s European integration, she appreciated France’s willingness to share its expertise through close collaboration between France’s General Secretariat for European Affairs and Moldova’s Bureau for European Integration.

Both officials emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation and ensuring a continuous exchange of experience and foreign interference to protect democratic processes and combat misinformation.
