President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met with Jeroen Clicq, the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The President praised the relationship between Moldova and the IMF and thanked the Fund for its financial support, especially given the numerous shocks and crises the country has faced due to Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The discussion focused on the regional security situation and the necessary measures to support the resumption of economic growth and strengthen resilience.
