President Sandu Advocates EU Accession in Phone Call with Latvian PM Silina

In a recent telephone conversation, the head of state engaged in discussions with the Prime Minister of Riga, Evika Silina, focusing on Moldova’s progress in the process of joining the European Union. The President outlined the reforms implemented by the country, emphasizing Moldova’s commitment to advancing on its European path, as reported by TRIBUNA.

During the conversation, President Maia Sandu urged Latvian authorities to support the decision to initiate negotiations with Moldova as soon as possible. This matter is slated for discussion at the upcoming European Council meeting scheduled for December 14-15.
