The head of the Commission for Economy, Budget and Finance, Radu Marian, went to Belgium to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Conference on Foreign Policy, Security and Defense.
The event, which brings together parliamentarians from about 30 countries and members of the European Parliament, takes place from March 3 to 5 in Bruges.
The Moldovan official scheduled bilateral meetings with officials from the Netherlands, the Republic of Slovenia, the Federal Republic of Germany and Austria.

The event is focusing on topics related to foreign policy, security and defence. The agenda of the conference includes a discussion about the support provided to Ukraine in the context of the war, the EU enlargement process, and the current situation in the Middle East.
The Inter-Parliamentary Conference on Foreign, Security and Defence Policy aims to exchange experience and information between parliamentary representatives of different countries and is organised twice a year.
