Businesspeople in our country have already invested over one billion lei through the government’s “373” programme, according to Prime Minister Dorin Recean’s announcement. According to him, the data demonstrates the potential the project has.
The largest investments, around 37%, were in renewable energy generation and supply projects. About 23% of the money went to transport and storage, 18% to manufacturing, 8% to agriculture and 6% to health, the government estimates. Funded initiatives create new jobs and economic development opportunities in all regions of the country.
“This is a positive beginning that demonstrates the project’s potential. I am glad to see that among the nearly 250 businesses with 3703 employees in the programme, there are 60 companies run by women and more than 70 young people developing investment projects,” says the Chief Executive.
