“Eugen Doga” Chisinau International Airport reached a new historic milestone in 2025 by handling 6 million passengers, marking a significant achievement and a clear indicator of the development of civil aviation in the Republic of Moldova.
The airport celebrated the welcoming of the 6,000,000th passenger, reaffirming its strategic role as the main gateway connecting the Republic of Moldova with international destinations.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolea and Airport Administrator Sergiu Spoiala attended the event and highlighted the importance of this achievement for the sustainable development of the airport and the national aviation infrastructure.
The airport welcomed the 6,000,000th passenger, Andriana Munteanu, in a festive atmosphere filled with applause and emotion.
To mark the occasion, she received two round trip airline tickets and a city break for two people in Dubai.
Officials congratulated the airport team on reaching this milestone and stressed the need to continue developing airport infrastructure for the benefit of passengers and the national economy.
