Representatives of the Moldovan Socialist Party went to a forum in Russia: with whom did the politicians meet and what did they discuss?

Representatives of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova participated in the Forum “For Freedom of Nations,” held in Moscow on February 15-16. The delegation from the formation included Vlad Batrincea, Olga Cebotari, and Elena Belyakova.

The participants in the forum discussed the current trends and realities in many countries and noted “the inadmissibility of interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states.”

“The members of the Moldovan delegation, in their speeches, emphasized the importance of open and dynamic international cooperation to strengthen the sovereignty and autonomy of the world’s countries. They also proposed to elaborate new measures to prevent external interference in the elections and internal political processes of individual countries,” the PSRM press release said.

It is also noted that on the margins of the forum, the socialists held meetings with representatives of United Russia, the Communist Party of China, the leadership of the Azerbaijani Parliament, and representatives of other delegations.

The forum, which brought together delegates from 60 countries of Europe and the CIS, Asia and the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, was organized by the United Russia political party.
