The priorities of the spring parliamentary session were discussed by the Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almat Aidarbekov. The officials agreed to intensify bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation.
During the talks, new opportunities for cooperation were identified in such domains as infrastructure, the modernization of railways, and agriculture.
“With the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almat Aidarbekov, we reviewed the priorities for the spring parliamentary session. Following our discussions, we agreed that we should intensify bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation.

We also identified new opportunities for cooperation in areas such as infrastructure, railway modernization, and agriculture. In this context, for 2024, we plan to organize a businessmen’s forum. Also, to expand agri-food cooperation so that our products, such as plums, nuts, and wines, reach the Kazakh market,” Igor Grosu said.
