Sandu, Recean, and Serebrian Conduct Working Visit to Security Zone Localities Affected by Energy Crisis

President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, and Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian will visit several localities in the security zone of the Republic of Moldova impacted by the energy crisis. The President plans to meet with local authorities, community leaders, and residents of the affected villages. She will also visit schools, kindergartens, a medical center, and other essential institutions.

“Both the Presidency and the Government remain firmly committed to identifying the best solutions to ensure that all citizens of the Republic of Moldova, regardless of their region, have access to essential services and receive the necessary support during this challenging time.

The energy crisis, caused by Gazprom’s decision to cut gas supplies to the Transnistrian region, has severely impacted several localities in the Security Zone of the Republic of Moldova that are not directly connected to the energy networks on the right bank of the Dniester River,” the presidency stated in a press release.
