“SHOR” Organization Members Appear on the PDMM Candidate List Ahead of September Elections

The criminal organization “SHOR” is regrouping its members and transferring them to other political parties, this time targeting the Modern Democratic Party of Moldova (PDMM), according to deschide.md. An analysis of PDMM’s candidate list for the 28 September parliamentary elections reveals that several former members of the “SHOR” group are now running for deputy seats under the PDMM.

Among them:

  • Oxana Severin, former representative of the “Pobeda” territorial organization in Glodeni, previously affiliated with the “Chance” party and Irina Vlah’s “Heart of Moldova”, recently joined the PDMM.

  • Ecaterina Cohanovscaia-Buza, also from Glodeni, followed a similar path from the “SHOR” team to “Heart of Moldova” and now the PDMM.
  • 22-year-old Jaclina Apostoliuc, daughter of former Glodeni hospital deputy director Ludmila Apostoliuc, was previously part of the “SHOR” group and now appears on the PDMM’s list.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission (CEC) banned the participation of “Moldova Mare”, another party affiliated with the Shor, led by former anti-corruption prosecutor Victoria Furtuna, effectively excluding all parties linked to the fugitive criminal. Today, the CEC will review PDMM’s request for registration in the parliamentary elections.
